Pensioner slips and falls at botanical garden waterfall

An Emer-G-Med paramedic confirmed the woman sustained minor injuries.

A couple’s breakaway from city life in Johannesburg almost turned into their worst nightmare when Selmi Ebersohn fell from a waterfall viewpoint at the Lowveld National Botanical Garden today, September 9. Her husband, Ebies Ebersohn, explained what happened.

“We wanted to take a seat on the railing when my wife suddenly lost her balance and rolled down two metres from the viewpoint.”

A paramedic of Emer-G-Med, confirmed that Ebersohn fractured her left hand and had a deep cut above her right eye, which caused a lot of bleeding.
