Prime Pet lets the dogs out for a walk in nature

More than 40 furry friends joined the fun at Friend's Café for a festive walk.

Small and big furry friends met up at Friend’s Café for a fun walk in partnership with Prime Pet Veterinary Day Clinic and Lowveld Canine Coaching on Saturday, December 6. More than 40 dogs were spoilt with delicious treats, while their owners with a free lead and a roll of poop bags.

They embarked on a walk on the trail and made new friends along the way. Patrons of the Lowveld Canine Training Centre were also present, putting their skills to the test as they practised what they’ve learned so far.

Pet parents also received a free refreshment at the restaurant afterwards and had loads of fun in the sun. This was the clinic’s first-ever dog walk event, with plans to make it an annual occasion.

“We decided to host this event to encourage dogs and their owners to enjoy the outdoors,” Molly Lubbinge, veterinarian and co-owner of the clinic said.
