The atmosphere at Mbombela Golf Club was filled with excitement and friendly competition at the KLCBT Annual Golf Day on June 5.

The day was a fully-booked success and the biggest since 2017, with a complete four-ball field and all the tee boxes filled. Demand was high, with continuous calls to see if any spots had opened up.

Six du Plessis, Dillon Preddy, Francois Roos and Shane Hartman claimed first place.

Ridley Ludik was the lucky winner of a mystery box prize and walked away with an all inclusive trip for two at Mdluli Safari Lodge worth R20 000. Other prizes included hampers from Aida Hazyview, Nice Foods, Kruger Park Books and Sizabantu Piping.

Event host Jonathan Hattingh thanked all who attended and made this day possible. He extended his gratitude for all the sponsorships and goodie bags, and thanked Nedbank Crossing, the main sponsor, and Solange Soares from TRAC N4 for MCing the prize giving.

“KLCBT is grateful for everything. We have already started planned our 2027 golf day and hope to see you there,” said Hattingh.
