Ratels too tough for their opponents
The local team dominated the first half of the match with Bom Botha, Ulrich Deetlefs and Martin van den Berg ensuring the team led 21-0 at half-time.
The Ohrigstad Ratels once again showed that consistency is key, and the local rugby giants thrashed Mbombela’s Kudus 45-6.The match was played at the packed Laerskool Ohrigstad rugby field on Saturday.
Two of the Ratels’ players, Panda Richards and Edward Latsky, scored two tries each.

In the second half the Ratels continued were they left off, as they easily penetrated the visitors’ defence. The local team managed to score three more tries and a penalty. The Kudus only managed to score two penalties in the 80 minutes.
The management of the Ratels once again pleaded with locals to support the local team in its quest to clinch the Lowveld Rugby League.
