Cape Town’s DJ Naaldekoker, best known for his specialist scratching alongside
Afrikaans rap superstar Jack Parow, is quickly escalating to the top of his game.
Having extensively toured South Africa and Europe as Parow’s right-hand man since 2009, he is no stranger to adoring crowds. He is winning over more and more fans with his offering of brand-new original tracks – some featuring hand-picked guest artists – and phenomenal skills.
Tracks on his pending full-length album include ironic reworks of local sokkie dance hits – one of which is a devious dub-step parody of Kurt Darren’s “Kaptein”. It illustrates his creative ability to blend tongue-in-cheek mischief with authentically phat sounds.
With beats so obese you’d want to call a dietician, unmatched turntable wizardry and high-profile collaborations, the stage is set for him to become the hottest property on the South African dance scene.
Pascal Ellinas and Dave Pearce met in 2007 and began the long and winding road that is now the stellar production of DJ duo Pascal & Pearce. They are proud brand
ambassadors for the Funky Ice Clothing label, Allen & Heath, Adidas Originals, Havaianas, Lundun sunglasses, Audiosure, Aerial 7 headphones, Time Factory watches and Thorns headwear.
With another album on the horizon and a stream of remixes set for release in the near future, these two look set to keep their title in the South African dance industry.

The hot Roger Goode knows music. Since his initial breakthrough into the industry in 2001 with his award-winning track, “In the beginning”, he has continued to evolve with the music culture, both locally and internationally.
With his beginnings in house music, he often branches out into dubstep, drum and bass, old- school rock, trance and even popular mainstream.
This DJ cannot be defined by conventional standards which are what makes each Saturday a unique listening experience. Goode’s adaptable approach ensures he is always tuned in, discovering obscure musical gems and thriving on diversity. He tours the country extensively, rarely spending free time at his home in Johannesburg, to play alongside local and international acts across South Africa.
Yo Mama’s favourite artist, Angolan-born DJ Dino Bravo calls South Africa home and adds vibrancy and skill to the profession that has captured his heart and soul – music.
His inspiration hails from the strong samba, Latino and African rhythm he is accustomed to, and the result of this unique blend is a host of infectious combinations of musical styles. His passion reaches far beyond the decks and he has shown a keen interest in producing.
Bravo’s success is thanks to his hard work, long hours and true dedication (no matter what it takes) when creating the music. He is a true reflection of the potential that exists within the music industry.
