Every year people from far and wide gather for the annual Night of 1000 Stars in aid of CANSA at Sonpark Boulevard to party up a storm.

NELSPRUIT – Every year people from far and wide gather for the annual Night of 1000 Stars in aid of CANSA at Sonpark Boulevard to party up a storm. Saturday October 12 is the day of the year that you don’t make any other plans other than going to this evening. This year you will go to Germany for the night by enjoying the Oktoberfest with an Oompah band, mouth-watering cuisine from street kitchens, beer and of course, loads of fun.

This fund-raising event for CANSA has been most successful for the past six years and is one of thé events on the Nelspruit social calendar. A scrumptious three-course meal prepared by local top chefs will set out a gastronomical feast from street kitchens that will make you think you are in the heart of Germany. The boulevard comes alive with gourmet food, entertainment, lights and music! Oom-pah International will entertain guests with their traditional German sounds that will have your feet tapping in no time.

Dana Agency sponsors an exciting lucky draw prize for the evening. One lucky lucky guest will win two return air tickets to next year’s Oktoberfest in Munich.

This beerfest is one of the most famous events and the world’s largest fair. Oktoberfest 2014 will be no exception. With approximately six million people attending every year, it is an important part of Bavarian culture. Think Disneyland for adults! Tickets for the draw are R50 and every person attending automatically receives one entry.

More tickets are available to improve your chances for this showstopper holiday.

The festival will start at 19:00 and tickets are R300 per person, which includes a scrumptious three-course meal and an evening filled with entertainment, dancing, laughter and cheer of which R175 of the ticket price will go directly towards the Lowveld Cancer Association. All proceeds from the lucky draw also go to CANSA and extra tickets can be bought through Meaghan Else from Sonpark Management.

This social event is surely something that can’t be missed and it is a great way to support a very worthy cause. For bookings please contact Meaghan Else on 013-741-1160/1 or marketing@sonpark.co.za
