MARLOTH PARK – After a struggle with the Nkomazi Local Municipality (NLM) that has been going on for quite some time, Marloth Park Law Enforcement Officers (LEOs) were officially appointed on September 2. These appointments mean that each one of the LEOs will be empowered with the same rights as all officers of NLM and will receive a stipend of R3 000. A dedicated traffic officer will be made available to assist them with traffic contraventions. Chairman of the Marloth Park Owners Association, Ms Pat Wilmans, deserves a big applause for all the hard work she has put into this operation. Also a big thank you to Mr Enoch Sifunda, the chief of law enforcement and Ms Emmah Mahlalela, director of law enforcement for their cooperation to make these appointments happen.
