The objective behind this prime movement was to effectively provide the best service to the residents of Limpopo.

POLOKWANE – The days of Limpopo SAPS lacking vehicles are a thing of the past. On Monday, the MEC for transport and community safety, Mavhungu LeruleRamakhanya, accompanied by the provincial police commissioner, Lt Gen Thembi Hadebe, handed a new fleet of 13 high-powered motor vehicles to the SAPS
Limpopo Highway Patrol Team and other units, to enhance service delivery across the province.

The objective behind this prime movement was to effectively provide the best service to the residents of Limpopo.

In attendance was the deputy provincial police commissioner responsible, Maj Gen Jan Scheepers, and the provincial head of the Hawks, Maj Gen Thobeka Josi.

Scheepers appreciated all the teams that made it possible for the motor vehicles to be handed over, and encouraged the members to perform their duties responsibly while taking care of the state
resources.

In her special message, Hadebe urged members to patrol their designated areas to prevent criminal activities, especially the identified hotspots in the province.

Lerule-Ramakhanya encouraged members to continue applying their tactics to suppress crime within the province.
