Course to encourage birding as a hobby

The Escarpment Bird Club will present a basic birding course to encourage the people of Dullstroom, Belfast and Lydenburg to get into birding as a hobby.

Over time they will have a greater understanding of birds, their habitats, lifespan and movements. This will be presented by an expert birder on a Saturday, followed by a field visit, and will be free to all participants. Readers who would like to attend may confirm by email to birding@escarpmentbirdclub.co.za. A date will be finalised based on the feedback. Enquiries: George Skinner, chairperson of the Escarpment Bird Club, on 082 600 5962.
