LISTEN: Chiefs fans are spoilt brats, Zwane is on the right track

Our guests say Chiefs supporters are hard and have developed a bad pattern of not giving coaches enough time.

Your soon to be favourite soccer Podcast, Balls to the Wall covered the Kaizer Chiefs debacle, looking at it from all angles.

Both our guests agreed on one thing: that Chiefs supporters are hard and have developed a bad pattern of not giving coaches enough time.

Chiefs have fired the last five coaches prematurely because the supporters put pressure on the club’s management.

And now that the supporters are demanding for Zwane to be fired, we spoke about the issue at length and look at how far he is with the rebuilding process.

Mamelodi Sundowns were officially crowned as champions for the sixth time running but it is in the Caf Champions League where their success should be gauged, argued our guests.

They managed a goalless draw in the first leg of the semifinals against Wydad Athletic away last weekend.

They put on a big showing as they finished the tie with nine men on the field with Neo Maema and Marcel Allende shown red cards.

It goes without saying that those red cards were debatable including Peter Shalulile’s goal which was ruled offside.

We questioned how long such ‘hometown’ decisions persist despite the introduction of the VAR system.

Tau to haunt former club Sundowns?

Bafana Bafana star Percy Tau had the Mamelodi Sundowns fans quivering in their boots with his performance which has technically eased Al Ahly to the final.

They beat Esperance 3-0 away on Friday and Tau scored two goals. Sundowns easily beat Al Ahly both home and away in the group stages.

But judging by their supporters’ reaction, they are still scared of the Red Devils, but is it justified?

We also looked at how Pirates squandered a chance to cement their second spot in the local league when they were held to a draw by Sekhukhune United.

Polokwane City are back in the Premiership. And we tell a joke we heard about the Limpopo side and Kaizer Chiefs. Enjoy.
