Miley Cyrus went straight to the studio with Kanye West after appearing at the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) on Saturday.
The ‘Party in the USA’ star went to record vocals for a ”top secret” remix of Kanye’s ‘Blkkk Skkkn Head’, skipping her own afterparty at New York’s No. 8 club, according to the New York Post newspaper.
Kanye was also conspicuously absent from P. Diddy’s afterparty, which reportedly went on throughout Sunday and into the early hours of the next day.
Both Miley and Kanye had performed at the MTV VMAs on Saturday, with Miley singing ‘We Can’t Stop’ and ‘Blurred Lines’ with Robin Thicke.
Kanye had been due to perform ‘Blkkk Skkkn Head’, but reportedly changed his mind at the last minute, instead rapping ‘Blood on the Leaves’ – another track from his recent ‘Yeezus’ album – with viewers only seeing his enlarged shadow against a backdrop of a forest.
Kanye has previously said he isn’t interested in being commercial and wasn’t even upset when ‘Yeezus’ leaked early.
He said: ”I have this new strategy. It’s called no strategy. This album is all about giving. This whole process is all about giving no f***s at all.”
