Remembering Flabba

Nkululeko “Flabba” Habedi was allegedly stabbed to death by his girlfriend in the early hours of Monday morning, in Alexandra.

According to his brother Tshepang Habedi, Flabba “was stabbed once in the heart around 2am. He was in his room.”

He said that there was an argument between the Skwatta Kamp member and his girlfriend. “We do not know why they had an argument.” Flabba’s girlfriend was arrested in connection to the crime, in Alexandra, Johannesburg. “I do not know when will she be in court. We do not have a case number as yet,” Habedi said. “It is difficult for my mother. I am her only surviving child. My brother died in 1994, and now Flabba. I must be strong for her.”

Messages of condolences poured for the Skwatta Kamp hip hop star, with Deneo Ranaka saying “there are no words. Not enough tears. A lifetime of sorrow. I miss you so deep already Nkuli. Who am I call and talk smack with now?”
