Marah Louw makes it on to African Content Movement’s national list

The veteran actress and former Idols SA judge may soon find herself in parliament.

In the wake of the lists of candidates nominated by political parties to contest the elections nationally and provincially being declared open for public scrutiny, some keen-eyed citizens have discovered that legendary actress and musician, Marah Louw has made it on to the list of Hlaudi Motsoeneng’s African Content Movement (ACM).

The lists simply feature the name and ID number of candidates but upon comparing Louw’s birthday to that in the ID number of the Louw that appears on the list, it is safe to say that it is indeed the former actress that would be eligible to represent the party should they garner an impressive number of votes in the upcoming elections.

Motsoeneng announced his new party last December and save for an interview on 702 and a few campaign videos posted on social media, he has been relatively quiet.

The same can be said for Louw who made headlines a year ago for her fall out with Connie and Shona Ferguson that lead to her quitting her role in their Mzansi Magic production, The Queen.
