Holomisa tells Gigaba’s spokesperson he deserves a sjambok
When Tshwete objected to Holomisa's assertion that Myeni was removed due to 'people's pressure', Holomisa said Gigaba's spokesperson must be given a hiding.

UDM leader and former Transkei military ruler General Bantu Holomisa is not the one to hold back. He has in the past told ANC MPs to remove Jacob Zuma, saying: “Sanukuyoyika, makwedini!”
‘The General’, as he is known in parliamentary corridors, uses a mixture of logic and Xhosa idioms when he takes on Zuma, a man he bravely refers to as “elisela”.
Even feisty parliament speaker Baleka Mbete sometimes appears mesmerised by Holomisa’s missiles. She rarely ever issue her notorious “leave the house” instruction to him. We suspect she might be secretly entertained.
Following news of a Cabinet endorsement of Finance Minister Malusi Gigaba’s decision to give Zuma’s associate, Dudu Myeni, the chop at SAA, as per lenders’ conditions for extending maturing loans, Holomisa, like all other opponents of the looting that continues unabated at the national carrier, gave his thoughts on the matter.
Holomisa tweeted: “People’s pressure pays.” This seemed to have rubbed the deputy director-general of communications, Mayihlome Tshwete, the wrong way.
Tshwete reminded Holomisa the minister was doing what he said he would do. He also insinuated “people’s pressure” led to the removal of his deputy, Mongameli Bobani, as the deputy mayor of Nelson Mandela Council.
“Ufanelwe yimvubu wena kwedini [you must be sjamboked, you uncircumcised boy].”
