Mbalula invites Stephen Curry to Luthuli House following Trump drama
The minister is trying to get Curry to visit Mzansi since Beyonce could not make it in 2010.

Police Minister Fikile Mbalula has saved the day – well, should they recognise him – in the whole drama involving American President Donald Trump and basketball player Stephen Curry.
It seems Trump recently invited Curry to the White House, an invitation he hesitated to accept, according to the outspoken president.
Trump was not pleased that Curry apparently hesitated, so he took to Twitter to share his thoughts.
“Going to the White House is considered a great honour for a championship team. Stephen Curry is hesitating, therefore invitation is withdrawn.
“Please to inform that the Champion Pittsburgh Penguins of the NHL will be joining me at the White House for Ceremony. Great team,” Trump said.
Trump’s tweets were laughed at by American celebrities such as Chrissy Teigen and LeBron James, to name a few.
They said it was unnecessary for Trump to withdraw an invitation that was already rejected.
Mbalula saw the drama on Twitter and decided to extend his invitation to Curry, since he could not secure Beyonce’s performance during the 2010 World Cup.
He invited Curry to Luthuli House, though he didn’t reveal what they would do during his visit here.
Perhaps his 1 million Twitter followers will get him some recognition from the player.

Twitter, however, advised Curry against accepting Mbalula’s invitation, saying he must stay far away from anything connected to the ruling party.
Some said he would never come to the country at the ANC’s invitation as he was a man of integrity.
The rest told Mbalula to invite our own sport teams to Luthuli House instead of reaching out to American players.
Curry has not responded to the invitation.
