A short clip on social media takes awkwardness to new levels as it shows a young man who apparently has no idea that he's using his earphones all wrong.

In a packed lecture hall, class is in session, but the young man is clearly more interested in a video on his laptop.
He thinks his earphones are properly plugged in, but his laptop speakers are actually on full blast and everyone can hear the sounds of a woman in crescendoing sexual ecstasy.
The female lecturer stops talking when the class becomes more interested in the source of the sounds and a helpful student nearby asks the guy to turn down his sound.
Nervous laughter then moves through the hall.
The whole thing seems to have been staged as a prank to “get” the students though.
