An intense thunderstorm with hail left flooding and a trail of destruction in several parts of Gauteng on Sunday evening.
The storm was reported in the north, central and eastern parts of the province, leaving major roads swamped in water and gardens white with hail.
Residents in Pretoria reported roads being blocked, with cars “unable to move”.
