The Martial Arts North West Championships were held in the Madiba banquet halls on 6 August. This was one of the highlights of the year and Master Louise Viviers, the host of the event and the president of Martial Arts South Africa, would like to thank Mr Cyril Henry and his Department of Sports, Arts and Culture in Tlokwe Municipality for their support in making this event a huge success. The athletes of the local Tang Soo Do Korean Martial Arts Club who competed in the event did brilliantly and racked up numerous medals.
