JP King is the newest addition to the North West Dragons with the batting all-rounder making his first class cricket debut today against the Dolphins.
The North West Dragons go head to head with the Dolphins from 5-8 March at Kingsmead in Durban in the CSA 4 Day Challenge and will look to gain valuable points on the log. The Dragons are currently in last place on the log, with the Dolphins sitting in second place on the log.
King has been performing consistently for the North-West University (NWU) in 2022 and was one of the standout players in the 2022 Varsity Cricket tournament.

King follows in the line of long list of NWU cricketers who have made their way into the professional cricket setup via the NW Dragons. Take Janneman Malan, Marques Ackerman and Wihan Lubbe for instance, to name just a few.
King is a right-handed top order batsman and a right arm off spin bowler.
He made quite the statement already picking up his first wicket on debut, with only his third ball. He trapped left-hander, Tshepang Dithole in front for 35.
