The 2024 ICC u.19 Cricket World Cup is coming to South Africa next year, with Potchefstroom chosen as one of the venues for this prestigious tournament from 19 January to 11 February.

The 2024 ICC u.19 Cricket World Cup is coming to South Africa next year, with Potchefstroom chosen as one of the venues for this prestigious tournament from 19 January to 11 February.

The J.B. Marks Oval is not stranger to a tournament of this magnitude, having hosted the final of the u.19 ICC Cricket World Cup in 2020.

The 2024 edition would have taken place in Sri Lanka, but due to the ICC suspending the Sri Lanka Cricket Board, the tournament was hastily shifted to South Africa.

The South Africa u.19 team will be based in Potch for the duration of the group stage.

They are in Group B, alongside England, Scotland and the West Indies.

The fixtures for the J.B. Marks Oval are as follows:

19 January: SA vs West Indies

20 January: England vs Scotland

23 January: SA vs England

24 January: West Indies vs Scotland

26 January: England vs West Indies

27 January: SA vs Scotland

Four Super Six matches will also be played at the J.B. Marks Oval.
