Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane says he witnessed Zambian striker Justin Shonga signing a contract with the Brazilians.

Shonga completed a move to Orlando Pirates, however, it later emerged that he had signed a contract with Sundowns.

Pirates administrator Floyd Mbele told Phakaaathi that Shonga is their player, but Mosimane insists that the Zambian international did sign a contract with Sundowns before joining Pirates.

“There is a little bit of confusion there with Justin. Justin came to the club, we talked to him,” Mosimane told Goal.

“We will see how it goes going forward. There is a little bit of legalities, but I was there when we signed Justin,” Mosimane added.

“The rest I will leave to the club to do what they have to do,” concluded Mosimane.
