Baroka not looking for a new coach – Mammila

Baroka FC CEO Morgan Mammila has dismissed reports that the club has started looking for a new coach to replace the suspended head coach Kgoloko Thobejane.

According to reports, club’s technical director Doctor Khumalo was offered the coach job, but turned down the offer.

Mammila refused to comment on reports that the club was looking to replace Thobejane with Khumalo.

“I can’t talk about coaching position while we have a head coach, I can’t respond to Doctor being offered the job, I don’t want to talk about that,” Mammila told Phakaaathi.

Mammila added that the club will announce a date for Thobejane’s disciplinary hearing this week. This is despite him telling Phakaaathi last week that the hearing will be this week.

“Kgoloko is still suspended and by Friday, we will give out a date on when his hearing will be. I think by Friday we will have a date.”
