Newly signed Orlando Pirates striker Justin Shonga is said to have signed a pre-contract with Mamelodi Sundowns before moving to Orlando Pirates from Nkwazi FC.
“Justin has signed a three-year contract with a two-year option. Sundowns paid a deposit. With Sundowns having reached their foreign quota they were going to loan the player back to his Zambian club and take him in January,” according to a SunSport source.
Shonga caught the attention of a number of Absa Premiership sides following his exploits for Zambia in the Cosafa Cup.
The player was eventually snapped up by Pirates and he could feature for Bucs against Polokwane City on Saturday evening.
