Ex-Chiefs midfielder refuses to play at Leopards

Black Leopards coach Lionel Soccoia has revealed that midfielder Andriamirado ‘Dax’ Andrianarimanana informed him that he will not play in the Limpopo derby against Baroka FC.

Lidoda Duvha lost the game 2-0 at the Thohoyandou Stadium on Sunday.

Soccoia says Dax, who was not injured as he trained with the side the week leading up to the clash, did not tell him why he did not want to play.

“Dax must play, he was supposed to play but Friday night he comes to me and tells me he can’t play I don’t know why,” explained Soccoia.

“I don’t know why. He worked two weeks three weeks with us without any problems but I don’t know why he can’t play against Baroka. He told me he can’t I don’t know why.”

The Madagascan midfielder joined the Limpopo outfit as a free agent last month after he was released by Chiefs, who had exhausted their foreign quota.
