Komphela welcomes Chiefs’ new technical advisor
Kaizer Chiefs coach Steve Komphela was part of the process for bringing Robertus ‘Rob’ Hutting to the team.

Hutting was announced as Chiefs’ technical advisor on Tuesday afternoon and his appointment left Amakhosi fans wondering if Komphela was on his way out of the club.

Komphela, however, has welcomed Hutting’s addition to his technical team
“A hearty welcome to Rob and we look forward to his cooperation and contribution to Kaizer Chiefs,” Komphela told the club’s website.

According to a Chiefs statement, Hutting has a Uefa Pro Licence from the Dutch National boards and a Masters Degree: Postacademical University Leuven/Belgium, but has never been a coach at a professional team.
