Maritzburg coach asks referees to protect Ndlovu

Maritzburg United coach Fadlu Davids has complained about the treatment that his star player Siphesihle Ndlovu gets on the field.

Davids says Ndlovu has to endure hard tackles from opponents in every game.

“Teams have resorted to kicking Siphesihle Ndlovu around and I am worried about him. I hope the referees protect him,” said Davids.

“He gets kicked in every game, six or seven times really brutal. I really hope the referees can protect him, there is a target on him there is a target to stop him and the way they want to do it is to kick him, he has to be alert and on his toes so that he doesn’t get injured at this time.”
