Mhango unhappy about treatment at Orlando Pirates

Gabadinho Mhango’s lack of game time after going into a disciplinary hearing for an incident that happened at a nightclub does not sit well with him and he believes the punishment is not fair on him, an insider at the Buccaneers has revealed.

Mhango has not featured for the Soweto giants since his bad publicity, which the team did not take kindly to, as they felt that his behaviour was bad for the Pirates brand.

The Malawian goal-poacher, who was a trusted forward for the Buccaneers in terms of scoring goals before getting injured, is alleged not to be happy with the way he is being treated.

“You can just tell by looking at him that things are not going well. He is not the same Gaba that everyone knows. All he does now is come to training, does his thing and goes back home because he knows that he won’t be playing.

“What I’ve seen and like about him is that he does everything that he is told that he must do at training, that’s his job. So, he respects that, but the fact that he is not playing really upsets him. I heard that he was complaining that his punishment was harsh, but he has to understand that at Pirates things are done in a different way.

“But the coaches have spoken with him, he just has to be strong and continue working hard at training and when the time is right he will start playing again,” said the source.
