Pirates announce six new players

Orlando Pirates have unveiled six new players joining their squad ahead of next season.


Pirates announced the signing of Kabelo Dlamini, Bongani Sam, Fortune Makaringe, Siphesihle Ndlovu, Tebogo Tlolane, and Tshegofatso Mabasa.

Phakaaathi reported that Fortune Makaringe, Siphesihle Ndlovu and Tshegofatso Mabasa will join the Sea Robbers from Bloemfontein Celtic and Maritzburg United.

Pirates announced the signing of goalkeeper Joris Delle on Monday morning.

The Soweto giants are expected to announce more signings in the coming weeks before the start of the season.

“All players underwent medicals last week with the rest of the squad to establish their readiness for the pre-season schedule that the technical team has prepared,” read a statement from Pirates.

“Strengthening of the squad has been the number one priority for the administrative office in anticipation of yet another gruelling season.”
