Sangoma Maluleke’s advice to Orlando Pirates to end losing streak
Apparently the team's troubles will not end if they do not follow this sangoma's instructions.

Soweto giant Orlando Pirates has recently been on a losing streak, after failing to finish in the top eight last season and failed to win a single trophy throughout the season.
The losing spree has been highly criticised by fans and politicians alike, with former Reserve Bank governor Tito Mboweni once calling for Pirates to be banned from the Premier Soccer League (PSL) for two seasons.
This after the team’s fans went berserk and vandalised stadium property during the team’s match against Abafana be Style, Sundowns, earlier this year at the Loftus Versfeld Stadium.
The fans were not happy their team was losing six-nil to the Brazilians.
Last month, Pirates lost four-one to Supersport United in the Nedbank Cup final at Moses Mabhida Stadium, leaving fans hopeless.
Following the embarrassing loss, EFF leader Malema said he was “consulting top legal minds” regarding the team’s performance.
“We feel very strong that the matter should go to the Constitutional Court, hai man,” complained Malema on Twitter.
However, sangoma Nzama Maluleke from Meadowlands, Soweto, seems to think there is more to Pirates’ losses than meets the eye.
Speaking to the Daily Sun on Tuesday, Maluleke said Pirates were being followed by bad luck. He advised the team to slaughter three cows, three white goats and three white chickens and ask for good luck from their ancestors.
“I am told by the ancestors that Pirates’ troubles won’t end until they do the right thing and slaughter animals. They told me things would continue this way or even get worse if the team didn’t do what they were supposed to,” he was quoted as saying by the tabloid.
According to the sangoma, the cows would stand in for all late players of the team, the goats would serve as a thanksgiving gesture for the success the team has had, while the chickens would be to ask for more trophies.
Maluleke said he had been ignoring the dream for while, but could not anymore as the team kept struggling.
