WATCH: Spectacular centreline own goal
Vitesse Arnhem had a disastrous night when they faced Groningen at the Noordlease Stadium recently.
Thulani Serero’s side were in the driver’s seat when they took the lead through an own goal from Kasper Larsen.
Unfortunately, Vitesse were to suffer the same fate later on in the match when defender Fankaty Dabo, the on-loan Chelsea man, levelled the score in spectacular fashion.

The ball was played to Dabo by a teammate and in the haste of trying to play the ball back to his goalkeeper before the encroaching opponent could get to it, he played it over his keeper and into the back of the net.
