Ah sweet! MaMkhize pens heartwarming birthday message to baby Flo

Proud grandmother MaMkhize took to Instagram to wish her granddaughter a happy 3rd birthday.
The reality TV star and business mogul posted a picture of baby Flo followed by a heartwarming caption. She said she is blessed to have such a sweet, caring and kind granddaughter.
“She truly is the light of my life. We are bonded by her infectious smile and boundless energy! May the Lord protect you, may you learn new things every day, and may your life be filled with love, happiness, and success,” she added.
Baby Flo
Flo is Andile Mpisane’s firstborn daughter, together with his ex-girlfriend Sithelo Shozi. The little girl was named after Andile’s grandmother, the political icon Florence Mkhize. MaMkhize has never shied away from showing love towards her granddaughter despite her relationship with Sithelo.
Abduction allegations
Earlier this year, Sithelo reportedly dragged MaMkhize and Andile to court, accusing them of “unlawfully and unconstitutionally” abducting baby Flo. Sithelo claimed that MaMkhize asked to see baby Flo in March 2022. By January 2023, Sithole was still waiting for her baby’s return. She said she was told baby Flo was ill and that MaMkhize was taking care of her at her La Lucia Mansion in Durban.
“For over 10 months now, there has been no further communication [on her illness] … It’s clear that [Mpisane and Mkhize] had ulterior motives, which is to abduct [her].
“I would often have a WhatsApp video call, but I have since been blocked by the helper and have no access to the child at all,” Sithole added in an affidavit seen by TimesLive.

MaMkhize hit back at the abduction claims
Through their family lawyer, Ntsako Godi, MaMkhize denied abducting Baby Flo. Ntsako stated that the three-year-old was never abducted, highlighting that baby Flo has been raised in the Mpisane household since birth. “We will defend this application and we are confident of our case.
