Julius Malema stands with DJ Maphorisa following explosive sexual accusations − ‘Mess him up’

DJ Maphorisa is accused of sleeping with other male artists.

Amapiano pioneer DJ Maphorisa has vowed to make an alleged ex-convict, Bongani Tsime, pay after he accused him of sleeping with male amapiano stars.

Tsime made the allegations on Against The Wall Podcast, adding that anyone who wants to make it in the industry has to sleep with DJ Maphorisa.

Responding to the allegations on X, Maphorisa said he is going to teach Tsime a lesson.

He wrote: “I’m gonna show you how I deal with these kinds of issues. I will make him pay.”

In the comments section, many people encouraged Maphorisa to take action against the alleged ex-convict, with EFF leader Julius Malema commenting: “Mess him up Chana, go very hard.”

“Deal with them harshly bro. These type of people don’t understand that their actions have negative impact on people’s careers,” another X user said.

Other allegations against DJ Maphorisa

A few months ago, Maphorisa was embroiled in more accusations as his ex-girlfriend Thuli Phongolo accused him of assault.

Sharing the details of the assault in a statement seen by City Press, Phongolo said: “I confronted him so that we could talk about our argument that happened the previous night during his gig… He held me, took me to the balcony, and grabbed me aggressively by my neck.”

The case made it to the Randburg Magistrate’s Court. However, Phongolo dropped the charges after the DJ was granted R4 000 bail.

Phongolo and Maphorisa released a joint statement, saying they have decided to deal with the matter privately.

“Being public figures, it is unavoidable that the public, media, and their respective commercial partners all have an interest in this matter. Accordingly, they have decided to release this joint statement as the official and exclusive statement in the matter,” they said.

“The matter has received mixed public attention, causing a great deal of emotional stress on both parties involved. It is on this basis that the parties have since elected to resolve this matter privately.”
