As the murder trial of Senzo Meyiwa drags on, the former girlfriend of the late soccer star, Kelly Khumalo, has given birth to a baby girl.
In December 2022, the singer and actress confirmed the rumours of her pregnancy. According to media reports, the father of baby No. 3 is former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder and Khumalo’s boyfriend of three years, Mthokozisi Yende.
Kelly Khumalo keeps baby ‘under wraps’
The accomplished musician shared a photo on Instagram on Sunday… but her newborn girl was hidden from sight in a baby carrier.
Khumalo simply captioned the post with “What’s good?……. #NunaExperience”.

Rumours become a reality: Arrival of Baby No. 3
Zimoja announced in April this year that Kelly Khumalo gave birth to a baby girl.
Singer Kelly Khumalo has reportedly welcomed her third baby into the world! Friends of the Ngathwala Ngaye hitmaker told Zimoja that Kelly welcomed a baby girl a few days ago via C-section, and it keeping her pregnancy under wraps until the right moment.
Pregnancy blues: ‘Wait is almost over’
On 21 April, Khumalo — dressed in a striking orange dress — flaunted her bulging baby bump in an Instagram post.
The singer captioned the post with “The wait is almost over”.

Daughter’s name unknown as yet
Khumalo is also leaving curious fans guessing about the name of her baby girl.
Her fans are also looking forward to the fourth season of her popular reality show, Life with Kelly Khumalo, in which they will be able to witness her pregnancy journey firsthand.
Fans are also hoping the new season will finally provide confirmation that Yende is indeed the baby’s father.
Senzo Meyiwa’s daughter Thingo shows off soccer skills
About a month ago, Khumalo shared a video on social media in which her second child, Thingo, displays her soccer skills while playing football at their home.
Thingo is Khumalo’s daughter with Senzo Meyiwa. The former Bafana Bafana captain and Orlando Pirates goalkeeper was shot and killed during an alleged robbery at the house of Khumalo’s mother in Vosloorus on 26 October 2014.
The video showcases Thingo’s soccer skills, which could be attributed to her late father’s genes!
