RHODurban: Nonku sobs when asked about her failed relationship with RD

Businesswoman and TV star Nonku Williams has left tongues wagging on social media ahead of the RHODurban reunion broadcast.

On the trailer that is making rounds on Twitter, Nonku tears up when the show’s host, Mthokozisi “MaBleh” Cele, asks her if she feels emotionally swindled by her ex-fiancé Dumisani Ndlazi, popularly referred to as ‘Rough Diamond’ or RD.

Nonku and RD’s relationship seemed perfect on TV. The pair got engaged in March this year, but called it quits a few weeks later.

Nonku and RD split up

Last month, Nonku confirmed to Drum that she had broken up with RD. At the time, she had already deleted all the snaps and videos of him off her Instagram page.

While there were speculations that they broke up because RD had scammed her out of the tender money they reportedly got into together, she did not deny nor validate the rumours to the publication. However, she addressed the allegations that RD was arrested for a sexual offense crime.

“Yes, I am (aware). He was allegedly falsely accused. I’ve seen him around his daughter and my own, so I know I had nothing to be worried about,” she told the publication.

RHODurban reunion

Hosted by MaBleh, the trailer shows that burning questions will be answered next week, including Sane denying that she accused Annie of sleeping her way to the top. Nonku will also have to explain the meaning of “Mabusi vibes”.

Trailer reactions 

While some fans are disappointed that the show took two weeks pause, many are looking forward to the reunion set to air next week Wednesday.

“Also, the producers of #RHODurban are clueless about reality TV. A reunion is shot in the last 4/5 episodes. There is no need for a two weeks cooling period. Get it right!” @MissPhinds wrote on Twitter.

Fans have also slammed Maria for storming off the stage, @AshleyMoloi tweeted: “Nothing happened to Maria this season, for her to be running offstage like that. Sit down.”
