Bravo Le Roux memorial service details announced

The rapper died in Switzerland on Thursday, 22 January.


The family of late rapper and music producer Bravo Le Roux has announced details of his memorial service.

The 30-year-old artist, whose real name was Sinesipho Peter, died in Switzerland on Thursday, 22 January.

In a statement on Monday, his family confirmed that the memorial service will take place on Thursday, 5 February 2026.

The service will be held from 3pm to 9pm at OR Tambo Hall in Khayelitsha, Cape Town.

“The family of Sinesipho Peter, fondly and professionally known as Bravo Le Roux, wishes to formally announce that his memorial service will be held on Thursday, 5 February 2026, from 3pm to 9pm, at OR Tambo Hall in Khayelitsha,” the statement read.

‘He gave so much of himself to his craft and community’

The family described Bravo Le Roux as a respected creative whose work had a lasting impact on local culture.

They said his influence extended beyond Cape Town, reaching audiences nationally and internationally.

“His work and spirit resonated with audiences both locally andinternationally. He was loved by his family, admired by his peers, and cherishedby fans across all spheres for his contribution to the culture in Cape Town and across the nation.”

The family said the memorial service will serve as an opportunity to honour and celebrate his life and artistic legacy.

“His legacy continues to live on through his artistry, his influence, and the many lives he touched.

“The memorial service will serve as a moment of collective remembrance, providing family, friends, colleagues, and members of the public with an opportunity to honourand celebrate the life of a man, a family man, a father and a husband who gave somuch of himself to his craft and community.”

The family thanked the public for the support and condolences received since his death. They also requested privacy and respect as they continue to mourn.

“Further details regarding the programme and media arrangements will becommunicated in due course.”
