No homework day fundraising campaign for free Chat Books

The Chat book Homework Diary System will provide an effective means for the learner to organize their work.

The Chat Book is an Educational tool dedicated to enhancing communication for teachers and parents exclusively to meeting the needs of vulnerable children and young people living in disadvantaged circumstances.

The Chat book’s Home School Communication Tool Campaign aims to enable parents to become active participants in their children’s learning and to stimulate learning in the home. The campaign acknowledges a parent as partners encourages them to take an active part in improving the literacy of their children. It also helps to inform parents about curricular content and about their school’s educational aspirations for their children.

Chat book homework diaries system will help in terms of enhancing teacher’s communication with parents with regard to the learner’s performance throughout the year

We understand that the need for the Chat book Homework dairies is too great to tackle this problem on our own . It is only through the support of local schools participation. It  is evident that  by the involvement , members of school governing body, Independent schools ,public schools parents, learners and schools management that the Chat book  homework diary system can be introduced, implemented and  deployed to the no fee paying schools in poverty-stricken areas free of charge, to help make a difference to the lives of needy learners.

No Homework Day is South Africa’s innovative fundraising campaign for Chat book. Schools across South Africa on the 28 October 2015, learners do not get homework that day and enjoy civvies day to benefit the Chat Book Homework Diary Campaign. A R10 donation is given in order for Grades 1-12 to enjoy a homework free day in support of the Chat book Campaign. Chat Book HDC  provides and distribute Free Chat books Homework dairies to learners from grade 4 to 7 as a solution for a much needed Home to school communication system in no fee paying Primary schools for learners in disadvantaged areas.

No Homework Day on the 28 October 2015 will be an education favorite day on the calendar of many of South Africa’s schools; it also raises awareness on International Day for the Eradication of Poverty Celebrated Always on May 6th Internationally.

No Homework Day gives kids a break for one night and a chance to do some after school activities or time to just go out and play. For Parents to enjoy a homework free night to spend with their kids playing bakk or just relaxing and watching a movie.

For Schools to  have the right to get a Homework free day, participants make a donation of R10 for the official National No Homework Pass and civvies day, Not only does No Homework Day raise funds, it also raises awareness on International Day for the Eradication of Poverty

The campaign calls on all South Africans to stand up together and fight poverty by dedicating their time towards acts of goodwill that will ensure sustainable developmental programmes.
