Special fragrances were among the items stolen in the city in the week ending February 10.

Flashpoint areas and tendencies: 
Crime – Housebreakings 
Areas: Sonheuwel, West Acres, Mbombela Central, Maggiesdal, Steiltes, Valencia, Highlands, KaMagugu and Riverside.
Streets: Leadwood, Kiaat, Suiderkruis, Ehmke, Eugene Marais, Sunrise Terrace, Marloth, Belladonna, Flamingo and Crystal.

Burglary at business premises
Areas: Uitsig, CBD, Mbombela Central, Riverside Mall and Vintonia.
Streets: Anderson, Oewersig, Ehmke, Riverside Boulevard and Loco.

Crime – Theft out of motor vehicles
Areas: CBD, Mbombela Industrial, Vintonia, Mbombela Central, Sonheuwel, Riverside Mall parking and KaMagugu.
Streets: Henshall, Suikerriet, Old Pretoria Road, Ehmke, Bester, Brander, Piet Retief, Van der Merwe, Brown and Pangolin.

The following items were stolen: 
Cold drinks, a GPS, cash, wallets, bank cards, laptops, handbags, cosmetics, cellphones, a tablet, sunglasses, perfume, tennis bag, black bag, modem, USB, spare wheel, wheel cap, driver’s licence, ID books, passport, cheque book, truck batteries, notebook and a laptop bag.

Crime – Robberies with firearms/hijackings 
Areas: Agri Research Centre, Sonheuwel, Schagen, Vintonia and Mbombela Central.
Streets: Stanley, Old Pretoria Road and Mostert.
