Polsec: With the fuel price increasing, thieves are on the prowl for diesel

Here is your weekly crime round-up for the week ending March 3.

Flashpoint areas and tendencies:

Crime – Housebreakings

Areas: Sonheuwel, Friedenheim, Maggiesdal, Hermansburg, Stonehenge and Bushveld Lodge.

Streets: Juanita, Van Rooyen, Polvy and Klopkloppie.

 

Burglary at business premises

Areas: Nelspruit Central and CBD.

Streets: Russel, Short, Brown and Piet Retief.

 

Crime – Theft out of motor vehicles

Areas: CBD, Steiltes, KaMagugu, I’langa Mall Parking, Mataffin, Sonheuwel, West Acres and Vintonia.

Streets: Bester, Hedgehog, Flamingo, Halssnoer, Ibis, Old Pretoria Road, Stinkhout, Citrus, Ferreira, Waterfall, Platinum and Henshall.

 

The following items were stolen:

Cold drinks, diesel, handbags, wallet, purse, cash, bank cards, driver’s licence, ID book, cellphone, iPhone, iPad, charger, laptops and hard drive.

 

Crime – Robberies with firearms/hijackings

Areas: CBD, Bester and Town Lodge Parking.

Streets: Paul Kruger and Brander.
