STEELPOORT – The trend of blocking roads in Tubatse has resumed again. This time the communities of Ngwaabe blockaded the steel bridge that leads to Jane Furse, demanding better services from the municipality and jobs from nearby mines. School children and workers, mostly from the local mines, were left stranded as there was no transport.
The blockading of the roads started on Thursday. The roads to Dwarsrivier, Two Rivers and Glencore mines were still blocked with a truck on Friday afternoon.
