This follows yesterday’s Stage 2 loadshedding from 13:00 to 22:00.
Stage 2 loadshedding means that 2 000 megawatts of electricity are rotationally loadshed across South Africa over a given time.
Eskom reminded customers that all electrical points should be treated as live during loadshedding. They also urged all electricity users to switch off geysers, as well as other non-essential lighting and electrical appliances to reduce demand.
