The Amazing Riverview Restaurant in Marloth Park is one of the places that was left to pick up the pieces after Sunday evening. The owner, André van den Berg, said they are working around the clock to ensure that the restaurant is renovated before the beginning of the peak holiday season in December. “It was around seven in the evening when the storm started and a great part of the restaurant was damaged. This includes the roof and some parts outside. Luckily no one was injured as everyone was moved to a place of safety. We are working to ensure that everything is fixed just before December so our patrons will not be inconvenienced,” said Van den Berg.
