Mbombela family armed robbed in broad daylight
The incident took place near Laerskool Bergland early on Friday morning.
MBOMBELA – A woman and her teenage son were tied up at knife point this morning when an armed man entered their house.
It is unclear how he gained entry to the house.
The incident occurred at around 07:00.
Albert Gryvenstein from Bossies Community Justice said on the scene that the man was armed with a knife. He used cellphone cables and shoe laces to tie them up.
He allegedly threatened them that another two armed men were waiting outside. This turned out to be false.

The mother and son were not injured during the ordeal.
The robber made off with a laptop, phones and other household goods.
Hi-Tech Security responded to the scene first. Police are investigating.
Nobody has of yet been arrested in connection with the robbery.
