IN PHOTOS: Face-painting and family fun in aid of White River SPCA

After an unexpected venue change, the White River SPCA Country Fete was held on Saturday at Bagdad Centre.

The day started off a bit slow, according to Estelle de Villiers of the SPCA, but otherwise, under the circumstances, it went well, and it still managed to make a bit of money.

Voodoo Kudu provided the entertainment, while attendees could have their faces painted and browse through multiple stalls, offering anything from handmade, wooden toys to scatter cushions and clothes.

De Villiers thanked Estelle Roe of Bagdad Centre for rescuing the day and providing the venue after the unexpected change.

The intended venue was Da Loose Mongoose, but due to its last-minute closure, the SPCA was forced to make an alternative plan.
