MANDELA DAY 2021: Let sleeping dogs lie on a comfy bed
This year Nelspruit Coricraft partnered with Pro-Life Pet Rescue, Rehabilitation and Adoption Agency for its Mandela Day initiative.
The team at Nelspruit Coricraft got together to make dog beds using all the repurposed material that they had on hand.
The beds were priced between R400 and R500 and within days all stock had sold out with all of the proceeds going to the Pro-Life shelter.
“The community response was overwhelming,” said Anne-Marie Henning, the store manager at the Nelspruit Coricraft showroom.
The team realised that Mandela Day initiatives are designed to create legacies in the community, differences that last and inspire. Care to the community extends beyond the humanitarian cause, to furry friends as well.

Pro-Life thanked Coricraft Nelspruit on its Facebook page by saying: “We are extremely grateful to Nelspruit Coricraft and everyone who supported this amazing project. A whopping R28 300 has been raised! This will change the lives of countless animals in need, thank you very much”.
