Finding the perfect gift at the Night Market

The ambience of a warm summer night and romance was in the air as people streamed into the market.

MBOMBELA – Love was in the air at the Night Market, which took place at Little Karoo coffee shop in Ehmke Street on Friday night.

Organiser, Rowena Richardson said this was the second event they had at the shop. “We first held the Christmas Market on December 1, which was a huge success so we decided to hold a Valentine’s one.”

The ambience of a warm summer night and romance was in the air as people streamed into the market. About 38 stalls were spread around the shop.

Food stalls and crafts, plants and various gifts were on sale for the browsers.

Talented musician Malcom Sands sang some well-known songs to entertain the crowd.

People sat around on bales of hay enjoying a drink and some food while listening to the music.

“It has been a tremendous success tonight. Unfortunately we will not be holding a market on a monthly basis. I am planning a health market in the future,” said Richardson.
