I recommended Pfumbidzai to Celtic – Nengomasha

Former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Tinashe Nengomasha and Butler Masango have revealed that they were behind Ronald Pfumbidzai’s move to Bloemfontein Celtic.

Pfumbidzai agreed to a three-year deal with Celtic.

“I watched Ronald Pfumbidzai playing for CAPS United in this year’s Champions League and I saw something special in him. And that’s when I decided to recommend him to Bloemfontein Celtic,” Nengomasha told the Herald in Zimbabwe.

“And I’m glad to say that we were successful in bringing him down here to South Africa and I’m quite confident that he will do well, but he needs all the support we can give him because we already know how it is to play in a foreign country like South Africa.”

“What we are basically interested in is the welfare of the player not the monetary side of the deal because a number of so-called football agents tend to dump players when things don’t go well for them and they (the players) end up being frustrated and homesick,” added the former Chiefs midfielder.
