Kelly Khumalo trends for dark armpits and saying she’ll ‘murder’ Idols hopeful
Though some were impressed with her singing, some thought the Asine hit maker should stop showing her armpits on TV.

One of South Africa’s best vocalists, Kelly Khumalo, was a guest judge for Idols SA on Sunday night. She received mixed reactions on Twitter, and has been trending since the show aired.
Many praised her amazing voice after hitting a high note, saying she does not get enough recognition for her pipes.
“She has a killer voice that Kelly Khumalo,” wrote one of her fans, while another said they thought she “yawned musically”.
Those who believe she makes a brilliant judge have asked Idols SA to make her a permanent.
The rest of the comments came mostly from people who just don’t like her, or Orlando Pirates fans who were still upset after losing to Kaizer Chiefs on Saturday. Some went as far as to say Pirates wouldn’t be losing so many matches if Senzo Meyisa’s killer had been found.
Meyiwa was shot dead in October 2014 at Kelly Khumalo’s house in Vosloorus. More than two years later, the murder has not been solved.
Though people have been calling for her to open up about what happened that night, Khumalo told Anele Mdoda earlier this year she was not allowed to talk about it, but felt police were not doing enough to solve the mystery.
“At the end of the day, I’m one person that wants people or even the country to know what happened. I mean, at the end of the day, Senzo was not only loved by me,” she said.
What fuelled calls for Khumalo to talk about Meyiwa was her comment to one of the contestants. She told the guy she would “murder” him if he disappointed her.

The singer clearly enjoyed her time on set, falling off her chair on Sunday night as she laughed with fellow judges Somizi and Unathi.

She also trended for her armpits. According to viewers, she “bleached” the rest of her body and forgot her armpits.
