The next Idols SA auditions

Entry is free and open to all South African citizens who are between 16 and 30 years old.

Auditions for the twelfth season of Idols SA kicked off in Durban last weekend and saw more than 2000 people hoping to get a nod from the show’s judges. Auditions will now move on to Pretoria and Johannesburg and will end in Cape Town in March.

“If you believe you are the next Karabo (Mogane, Idols SA 2015 winner) or even better, then this is your chance,” says the show’s host and executive producer Proverb (Tebogo Thekisho).

“Perhaps you’ve missed an opportunity before, or weren’t the right age or the stars just didn’t align…well, now is the time to take your moment. If you believe, then act! Come to the auditions at the State Theatre and claim what’s rightfully yours – a shot at the big time! See you there,”

Don’t forget to bring a copy of your ID to the audition, and minors must remember to have signed consent from a parent or guardian in order to take part. Entry is free and open to all South African citizens who are between 16 and 30 years old on the date of their first audition.

Audition details.
Pretoria:
Saturday 6 February The State Theatre

Johannesburg:
