Kerr resigns from Black Leopards

Black Leopards boss David Thidiela has confirmed that Dylan Kerr has stepped down as the head coach of Black Leopards.

Thidiela revealed that Kerr sent his resignation letter informing him that he was quitting the club.

The 54-year-old quit on Tuesday after saving Lidoda Duvha from relegation in their first season back in the top tier.

Kerr joined Leopards from Gor Mahia and signed a four year contract, taking over from long serving Leopards coach Joel Masutha.

“Yes, he has sent his resignation letter but as a team, we are closed for the season now but we will sit down and release an official statement on the way forward,” Thidiela was quoted as saying by LimSportsZone.

Kerr urged Leopards to aim for silverware next season after the 2018/2019 campaign ended hinting that he would not be part of the club moving forward.
