Chiefs to use Macufe game to rectify mistakes

Kaizer Chiefs football manager Bobby Motaung is hoping that Steve Komphela and his technical squad will use the Macufe Cup to work on their mistakes.

Amakhosi, who are the defending champions, will meet Bloemfontein Celtic again in the annual cultural cup competition at the Free State Stadium on Sunday at 3pm.

“This match will give our technical team a chance to rectify the mistakes we made in our last PSL fixture,” Motaung told the club’s website.

“It is also the Fifa break and we want to keep our match fitness in preparation for the upcoming tight fixture schedule.”

“We look forward to the match and it’s all systems go on our side. We just wish the entire festival success and for the people to enjoy peacefully. Drive safe as Arrive Alive must be the order of the day.

“All in all it’s about our community engagement through arts and culture,” concluded Motaung.
